Learn To Fly
Learning to fly doesn't have to cost you a fortune. You don't need to be mega rich to get a pilots licence. Flying lessons can start from about £90 an hour, and you will need to have flown 40 hours to get a national pilots licence. However that doesn't include your exams. You should fly at least one hour a month in order to keep your skill levels up but of course if the weather is bad you can't always have a flying lesson.

If you want to be able to pilot your own private jet then the cost involved in learning to fly will be well worth it. Imagine the freedom of being able to fly your own aircraft to any destination you choose.

Many people learn to fly just for the fun of it. It can be very exhilarating to take the controls of a light aircraft and take off and land it safely.

Your instructor will discuss the different types of study material that you will need as well as a log book to keep track of the hours that you have flown.

Before you start your first flying lesson you will have to undergo a medical to make sure that you can operate an aircraft safely. You must also be over the age of 16.

Most flying schools will let you pay for each lesson as you go but you may find that you can get a good deal for booking a block of lessons in advance. The best idea would be to have a trial lesson first to see if you like flying before paying out more money. Check out a few flying schools in your local area and talk to the instructors before making any decisions.

Once you have attained you pilots licence you can share flying time with other pilots to reduce the cost.while you build up your hours and experience
